Well boys….. as I headed back in off the ice today with the crew who battled through the blizzard and endured the bitter cold weekend I couldn’t help but to chuckle. Very Very inclimate weather for late Feb/march fishing, but they weren’t to be be denied. Big fish for the weekend were like this……..16 inch 2lb 4oz. CRAPPIE!!, 28 1/4 Walleye and 20lb pike which was wrapped up and snapped off after sitting under the ice 3 seperate occassions!! Grrrrrrrrr!! Dropped the hammer on big fish!! Check it out!! I will be preparing a full “In Depth” report on what you need to know to digitalize some of Rainys Finest!! A perch Pattern Diamond Jig gets the credit for the 16 inch SLAB!! Blue/Silver Lightning spoon pounding big shinner takes the honors for the BIGGEST eye this weekend!! FYI weather is stabalizing and getting warmer… Time to get off the couch!! 34 walleyes over 26 inches since Jan. 1st………AND COUNTING!! The Crappie??? 16 inches on the nose, and will be going on my customers wall!! Great fishing with you boys!!!
