Tilson road to Am. Narrow

    Just wondering if any of you are still drivin’ out to the narrows? I’m sick of this slush. But I’m even more tired of sittin’ on the couch!

    I was out there last Friday ,drove my 4 wheel drive truck out ,there was water on the ice road ,ruts ,we did not have any trouble with the truck.Sled travel has improved , nice crust on ice ,that should have got better with -12 last nite.Iam heading out tommorrow.

    Hey Buddy!!

    I’ll be out on the ice tomorrow. Keeping tabs on the big girls. I think this melt down will serve us well. After this locks up travel is going to be nice!! That road might be interesting for a little while, but as BB stated that is cold weather, and should freeze it up!!

    Just got back from the narrows after a decent morning in 35′. Quite a few fishstix w/ a couple eaters but no pigs. How deep are you guys havin’ your best luck and are you finding any kind of afternoon bite? Sure beats the hell out of work.

    We bounced around alot today with little success, we did get a couple of eaters,stopped at the narrows on the way back and got this 25 incher.We where in 36 fow,but the big ones seem to come in suspended around 15 feet down.

    Didn’t make it out today, but will be out tomorrow morning. Too many loose ends to take care of today. Will be on the ice for the next 7 days at least!! SO LOOK OUT!!
