Late Ice on Rainy?

    Never fished Rainy and here alot about it not sure how late you can fish hard water thinking of a trip late march.

    Hey MW,

    Eyes are open until mid April. PIke are open continous. Last year could have been fishing until mid April on HARDWATER. I like March trips for Flagging pike!! Lots of options buddy, but yep March is a go!!

    How is the bite been as of late I might take a long day trip to scout out the area I will be come in from the west side. And by the way thank for the info

    March is the time to be there! there are a few spots we fish where the big walleyes move in to stage for the spawn! kinda there last holding spot before they push up to spawn! we have an indian friend that takes us out!
