    Hey Guys!!

Daze is on the move. Stopped by quick, and traded in guide cameras. Grabbed his H20c and headed out. He said the bite is good with a nice mixture of panfry fish and big ones. He mentioned traffic is picking up, and is on the move to some more isolated spots he fished this fall. Hopefully he’ll come back to pick me up for those spots!! He said that most of the guys are switching to the Lime Green Glow Lightning Spoon (I believe). The biggest fish is 25 1/2 inches caught 3 feet below the ice!!

    Good fishing!!

    Thanks Queen!!

Great morning fishing!! Trying to stay a step ahead of the bite I figured it would be important to step out of the comfort zone we are in, and take a nice snowmobile ride with the H20 and Lakemaster Chip. Didn’t go too far, but made it out about 8 miles. Still slush out there, but it is starting to settle in, and the surface snow is becoming a bit more packed. Before venturing too far I came and got the Queen so we could explore these new areas together. We weren’t fishing, but simply packing some areas for fishing the next couple days. It is always a good plan when heading off the beaten path to bring a pal along. Today the trail blazer “DAZE” got stuck once. Nice to have help along when this happens as IF you get stuck you will be lifting a sled pretty high to get it onto packed snow. All in all the conditions are definately improving. I got out and put the X on the Spot in a few areas, and look forward to getting to them in the next day or so. Good Plan to explore without a portable in tow also. Tough not wetting a line this afternoon, but scouting is as key to Monster Walleye fishing as it is Hunting Stomper Bucks!! Knock your trail down in and out, and then the next time you will have SMOOOOOOOOOTH Sailing!!

On a side note what a beautiful ride on the sleds today!! The Queen and I stopped several times for photos… Gods country no doubt!!

Did you make it all the way out to your itty-bitty reef tucked just inside the international line?

Nope!! Wasn’t that brave YET… Only about 10 miles away though. Not many Sled tracks out on the main lake, but a few more after today!!

I looked… it does. And it is one tiny speck out there in the middle of 200,000 acres.

    Happy hunting.
