    IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!!

Yet the big walleyes keep biting!! Great Great Great year to be in the permanent house sipping Peppermint Patty listening the festive sounds of Rattle reel jingles!! “Oh hang on a second guys… Deal me in while I ice this FAT Haas!!” OK….. Now where were we?

70 degrees in the fishouse, and unless the penquins and caribou make there way down to joing the Polar bear the weather will warm up again. I think in the meantime I will start my campaign for the cause and effects of “Global Cooling???” The impacts of the drastic change in weather could be detrimental the normal folk, so a few million dollars of seed money for the Daze Weather team (Side business from Daze Guide Service) will be wisely invested, and maybe just maybe if I play my cards right I might be up for a BIG……Nationally recognized award!! But I will be very very humble in the acceptance as COLD is no joking matter folks!! It is even hard to eeeek out a tomato growing season in the summer here now!!

Take a stand As were about ready to throw furniture in our wood boiler!

We are finally having winters that I remember as a kid I think there are a couple of generations, that missed out on what its like to sled down a hill at mach 20 or ride a snowmobile, or even better, go tubing !!!! Do they even have tubing hills anymore ? We used to go to a place called Hillbilly Hills, that was always a blast I suppose snowboarding has replaced that. Stay warm Rainy !!!

Chris, having met you in person I didn’t think you were so full of it. Perhaps that wasn’t you at all or you have a ghost writer. celeb

I think I just saw a wolly mammoth walk down Newton street. It looked cold. -17 below right now. I would imagine the ‘Daze Fishing Crew is going to stick pretty close to that permanent shelter today.

You can bet on that James!! I’m out to check on the boys in about an hour. Got out there a bit early to heat up the permanent!! While I was waiting for their arrival I decided to wet a line and had a monster on for a couple minutes before she decided she didn’t want to see the inside of the Daze inn!! Grrrrr!! Hopefully she stayed close by for the boys to land another monster today. Yesterday 29 1/8 and 29.5 in the other house!!!

Is it too soon for me to want to come back?

We really need to start planning that trip to the east end. I noticed there was a maintained sled trail that took you all the way to a hop off point east of the Brule. As soon as the slush settles, assuming it settles, we should get out hind parts over there.

Slush might settle next week as it warms up. Right now permanent house is the way to go. My guess would be there will be some awesome fishing (If it can get any better) next week as we are afforded the luxury of mobility!!) Boys aren’t doing too bad this morning considering a 40 degree drop in temps!! Biggest fish this morning are (2)19’s. While I was checking on them they had some monster blobs on the Marcums lurking, LURKING…. LURKING!! Lots of baitfish suspended, and that is key!! Wouldn’t be surprised at all if the pop another Trophy this afternoon despite Ma Nature!!
