Merry Christmas to all from the “Icebox”. And we’ve been living up to it this year. Plus 40″ of snow to make a white Christmas dream come true.

We’ll be ready for ya Buddy!!

Look out walleyes!! Just got my shipment of the awesome Jigging spoons from Custom Jigs and Spins!!!

I am telling you the Custom Jigs makes THE BEST jiggins spoons on the market!! I absolutely LOVE the glow patterns for our stained waters, and the reliable RAZOR sharp and SUPER bend resistant trebles are HAMMERS DOWN for putting the beans to the big eyes.

Thanks Custom Jigs!!! Keep setting the standard for both open and hardwater tackle You’ll surely see lots of your tackle hanging out of beautiful fish here on the MIGHTY RAINY!!

Oh by the way here’s a little tip for guys who like jigging up big walleyes. I almost always use 1/2 a minnow on my jiggins spoons. Not just the head, but half of the minnow or more. When you have the 1/2 minnow hooked through the head on your spoon take a small scissors and cut up through the minnows guts. Doing this allows for a much more attractive easy snack for walleyes while the extra scent pumped through the water can be just enough to entice even neutral fish.

Good tips on the minnows, Daze. I plan to put them to the test in about 24 hours.
