How is the ice traffic up there? ATV-able ice? I would assume slush is now a major factor after this last storm. Any reports of any big ones getting speared yet? A friend of mine took a 22.5lb fish two weeks ago locally here. Heckuva fish. 50 yrs old and it was his biggest since he was 16…….

There is slush but not all over. With the snow we also had wind so there are areas where the snow has blown off. I haven’t been out but have heard a report today that ATV’s and snow machines are being used and that Rainy Lake Marine has done some plowing. After last year I thought they’d wait longer with the plow but it’s their truck.
