Daze/Fishing Queen…. Fishing Knot??

    Back from the land of Coconut drinks and bikinis!! Whew!! Enough of that stuff!! Nice to be back to the land of ice, snow and giant fish!

    Sorry to all for the lack of communication while I was trying to find the bottom of my Mimosa, and teach the pier fisherman to jig. LOL!!

    The Fishing Queen and I are officially engaged, and I am proud to say we were not influenced by funny drinks or sunshine that I can remember… We are planning a February wedding!! Might serve Walleye cocktails!! Likely the best catch ole RD will ever boast of!! Thanks Queen for making me the luckiest Fishing Guide…

    As I climbed back up our ski slope of a driveway I was fired up to see Rainy locked up tight. Ice looks to be forming nicely, and way better than last year. I know we’re all fired up to pound the fish, but still use caution. Due to varying flow here on Rainy we’ll always form ice a bit slower than lakes without current. Bays are looking nice, and it definately looks like all Christmas trips and beyond will be ready to roll.

    Thanks for patience on the pre-books for House rentals while I was irresponsibly soaking up Dangerous UV rays!! PIKE AND WALLEYE LOOK OUT!! Remember if you want a snowmobile ice excursion adventure or the “Daze Inn” deluxe comforts of home the Rainydaze Team aims to please while bringing the biggest and baddest fish to there knees!!!

    Super news, nice Christmas present.

    I met the young lady once at Woody’s and she seemed very nice.

    Just remember when you say “I do” you really are saying “yes dear”.

    Permission is a word that you will become very familiar with.

    Awwww! Thanks Daze, how romantic! Yep as you always said your more than just a good fisherman!! LOL!! See it wasn’t just that you were my favorite fishing guide ever, and I’m not just trying to get free guiding for life!! LOL!! Although it did cross my mind… JUST KIDDING!!

    Speaking of funny drinks…..Daze found a HOOTERS on the beach! FUN. They are everywhere! Of course we blend well!!

    WOW!!

    Thanks everyone!! Both the Queen and I have met so many wonderful people from this site I figured it would be fun to share the news. The fishing queen loves her time on the water, and is a heck of a good stick to have in the boat!!!

    The Queen will likely become even more visible to Rainydaze Guide Service, and IDO. She is more photogenic too!! LOL!!

    Thanks SOOOOOO Much everyone!!!! Yikes I think I’m blushing!!! LOL!! Thanks Brad!! We really enjoyed meeting you while you were up with James, and hope we can share a boat in the near future. LIKE BIG PIKE??? That is a silly question!!

    Nope likely not a ice ceremony Luke!! LOL!! Don’t think it hasn’t crossed my mind though… Oh by the way I was overruled for using the “Daze Inn” as the Daze Honeymoon Suite as well!!

    I guess we’re going the traditional route. Church, Champagne, Holiday inn, Champagne, DJ, Champagne, Dancing, Champagne… And nope no Mr and Buddy heater systems for guest comforts. We’re going all out!! Thermostatic heat for all to enjoy!!!

    Rainy Walleyes will get the day off, but word to the wise for the top Rainy Prize “Don’t get comfortable we know where you live!!!”

    Congrats to you both! I just hope it is not on he weekend we are coming . Sounds like she is the one ,but to be late for your wedding because out fishing morning of wedding is hard for even a good woman to take.

    LOL!!! Lot of great advice!! Trust me I’m filing it!! Nope not when you boys are coming up!!! We have some pigs to slay that weekend. Gonna be a big year on the ice!! I PLAN on putting a few MONSTERS ON THE ICE!!
