Tip#1 Many boats congregated in an area does not always
indicate fish jumping in the boat, but likely means
a few hours ago someone caught a fish.
Tip#2 Add a hook sharpener to your lanyard this year, and
furthermore USE IT!!! If you can’t scratch your
fingernail sharpen your hook.
Tip#3 Invest in a tangle free net. Not only will this
save you time, and lower your blood pressure,
but will also drastically increase “CPR Success”.
Tip#4 Explore new areas with your “kicker motor”. No need
to add your lower unit to the structure of Rainy.
Trust me!!!
Tip#5 Spend some time and thought on your rod/reel/line
combination this year. Often times these
combinations are crucial to success on the water.
For example when fishing braided line remember to
use a fast tip or you will rip out on many hook
sets. I view the rod/reel/line combos as
arguably one of the most crucial mistakes anglers
make. There are countless reasons for several rod
set ups.
Tip#6 Trust your electronics. It isn’t “WitchCraft”
Tip#7 When on a live bait bite try duplicate the bite
using artificials “you might be suprised”. YOu
can cast harder, catch multiple fish without
re-baiting… Plus you look Cool doing it.
Tip#8 Spend a day on your vacation selling out to “BIG
FISH”. No doubt less bites, but might catch the
fish of your lifetime.
Tip#9 Don’t fish memories, and don’t be suprised when
roaming schools of fish change locations “DAILY”.
Yep even if Grandpa Joe used to catch them over
there when he was a kid!!
Tip#10 Fishing is much more enjoyable than reading about
it, so Good Fishing!!! See ya on the water!
