    We just got back from our week at island view. This year except for the weather far outdid our expectations. The fishing was the best I’ve seen. The reefs are hot. and the fishing was fast and furious most of the time. Uffda pete, it was great to see you again. We kept finding fish and the northerns were always around to. I had one I really would have liked to see better but there is always next year. My hubby and I are going to try to come up again for a 4 day weekend sometime this fall. I’ll let you know.

    I’m assuming that seeings how it was posted in the Rainy Lake forum that Rainy Lake is where Island View would be.

    Island View is a resort on Rainy. Take Hwy 11 east and you will run into it. I think it is just past One Stop.

    Riverdancer – glad you had a good week again. The weather has certainly been up and down so far but it looks like we’re going to get some consistently nice days now for a bit.
