Rainy 7/15-7/22

We had a fabulos week up at island view. The resort was nice, weather was fantastic and the fishing was awesome. Thanks for the info, we started on the reefs and started picking up nice walleyes right away. The rig of choice was a plain hook and leech. We caught most of our fish in the 25-35 foot range. We were very impressed with the numbers and quality of fish. Nice to meet you ufda Pete. Hope Red was fun. Being this was our first time the info we got was right on the money. Glad your first time on Rainy was a good one. It hasn’t slowed a bit since you left.

Red was fun but it’s not Rainy by any means. Hopefully the slot limit will mean some trophys there in a few years like it has here. We got our limit of walleyes and released a few more in the slot + a pile of sheepshead.
