I am heading up later this month…new boat …new GPS…ect.

What is the best GPS mapping chip for Rainy lake? I have done a little research and still remain a little confused. I have the Lakemaster Pro map chip and love it, but it obviously does not have Rainy Lake on it. I guess my only other option is Navionics? If so which Navionics has the best detail?

Figured this would be a great place to start.

    Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

get the new hopmaps premium edition. best money you can spend next to a vexilar. it will take care of minn, SD,ND,WIS,IW, 5 states and i think around 8000 lakes. i have only had it not be right on the money 2 times, but it was close enough to find the spots, otherwise it is very good. i give it an A+

Navionics Premium North has the MN abd CAN side of Rainy Lake, and, as noted above, it also includes a ton of other lakes in MN, ND, SD, IA, WI, and MI.

Matt, sorry so late – I just saw this again (Thanks Sully!).

Rainy is 5′ contours I believe. It would onnly take a couple of days to get to you if you wanted to order one.

    Navionics Hotmaps Premium North

    Thanks!
