Rainy River

    Hi
    Does anyone know if Rainy River is open to fish? I know the landing can be a bear and full of snow and ice. Especially since we just got 11 inches of snow last week.

    Dont think so. Reports from yesterday where still a number of miles from Birchdale. Hadnt checked today yet. Im starting to wonder about sturgeon fishing later this month. Up river landings should be open then. Bet wheelers wont be open.

    Thanks so much for the info. I will check out the landing tomorrow and post back if its different. Sturgeon would be fun to tackle, feels like spring is finally here! I even saw a few seagulls today!
