Rainy lake report

    The fishing has slowed a bit on Rainy.I was out yesterday did manage to get a 38 inch pike and some nice bass no walleye,but was not chasing any eye’s either.The water temp was 69 degrees.The fish are not in there fall pattern yet.

    I’m heading that way on Friday. I m guessing the walleye are still stacked up in there summer patterns but with water temps dropping who knows. Good report and welcome to IDO

    Wow; the water temp dropped big time from last week. We saw anywhere from 77 to 81 degrees during the hot spell. We found lot’s of walleye’s on just about any 24-40 ft mid lake hump. Sounds like things are changing up there quickly.
