With the fierce wind destroying the main basin ice here on Rainy Lake, anglers truly need to keep their head in the game. Twice today I was narrowly able to slip through massive lines of ice nearly trapping us in between a wall of ice and rocks. On a positive note the main basin ice is being decimated today. Should have wide open travel for most of the lake by late Wed!! As it sits right now there is a LOT of area to fish. A TAD windy out though.
