    There is nothing more rewarding than putting smiles on faces of traditionally “Non-Fisherman”. This afternoon I was honored to have two chemical engineers from the U of M out in a rental. Not only had these two guys not Ice fished, but never FISHED period. Topping that off we had a serious language barrier. Started by using the Marcum LX6 as a teaching tool and before I left them in the house they hooked this 17 inch Rainy Lake Walleye!! Just as easy as that!! LOL!! REEL REEL REEL!! Seems easy they thought!! LOL!!

    That’s awesome, hopefully the positive experience will make them anglers for life now.

    Way to go Mr. Granrud!!! It is those of us that think we know something that are impossible to teach anything to….Turn up the heat!!!…you must be coming up soon in the rotation for Holst and the IDO film crew. Hope to see ya soon.

    LOL!! Holst and I have been trying to connect for sometime. I need to hire another guide to free up some time to shoot. We’ll connect again one of these days.
