    I had the opportunity to fish with Chris Granrud earlier this week and as Chris has stated in the past he really focuses on finding the elite quality of fish regardless of the species he is pursuing. I personally have enjoyed the one to one time I got to spend with one of the most knowledgable fisherman I have ever met. Our experience included large crappies, a northern pike of approximately 12#, slot walleyes along with two over the slot walleyes that Chris caught back to back in approximately 15 minutes. Keep in mind this all happens in one of the finest landscapes of the world.

    Nothing but respect for a guy who fishes as much as Chris, catches monster fish routinely, ans STILL shows that much excitement and passion. I wish my job brought that much excitement but my boss would fire me if I fist pump and yell “woo” after sending off an excel sheet.

    Thanks Dave. Glad you enjoyed it. It’s not everyday you catch a 28 and 30 inch walleye back to back and…….ON FILM. I thought it might be fun to watch.
