Personal congrats to Tucker Hanson on his write up in last weeks Outdoor News!! I’ve fished with you when you were a couple feet shorter and I can honestly say you’ve never changed that “Big Fish Smile”. Proud to know ya and Proud to fish with ya bud!! Beyond the glimmer and Glamour now as a celebrity, Beyond the sponsors and product pouring in, beyond the scientific approach to patterning fish, beyond your annual fishing speeches in high school; There is a young man who simply loves fishing. I respect and admire that more than anything else!! Never lose sight of the “Fun Factor”. So glad at age……..11 I added your passion to the Rainydaze Search and Destroy team. People might have laughed at the time…Not laughing now huh!! The secrets of success are dangerously close to being exposed.

Pictured here is the now famous “Tuck” last year first week in December posing with this first ice 28 inch Walleye!!

Geez!! I sure hope the local resort book signings won’t interfere with our missions. Don’t change bud…… Otherwise we’ll have to take a “Search” break for a grown up “Ice Flushy” to reduce the swelling of your head.

As his dad I wish I could take all the credit, but I have relied on guys like Chris , Dean , Dustin , fellow Idoer’s ,and most recently the walleye searcher’s club for his love of fishing. It is a blast being a parent to share his experiences. He is a kid and needs some retooling from all the testostorone at his age but has a good heart a paasion for the sport second to none IMHO.
One of his better days on the ice last year was helping with a fellow ice angler’s boy catch fish . That boy was grinning ear to ear
Ok ready for ice Chris . Is it ready yet

I owe my passion and most of what I know to my dad, I still remember him teaching me how to cast a spinning reel and untangling rat nests in the lead core, without him i would have never found a passion in fishing, and thanks to drew for getting me to join the walleye searchers!

tucker has a passion for fishing like nobody i know! he knows more little details about fishing than many veterans to the sport. keep doing what you’re doing(except trying to run people over with your dads boat) hope we have many more great fishing experiences together!

P.S. congrats on taking 2nd place overall in the walleye searchers club this year!
