Reality Ice Television?

    Yesterday I was interviewed by a company looking to create a Reality based Ice Show comprised of a few Ice fishing guides from Minnesota. There were a few others interviewed around the state. Could be a pretty neat show if it comes together. I assure you “Wicked Tuna” would be mere “Childs Play” in comparison.

    Discovery should pick up a show like that. That would be a lot better than the other “reality” shows out there.

    Bering Sea Gold: Under the Ice?
    Gold Rush?
    Yukon Men? Blech.

    Maybe a Housewives of Ice Shanty Town?

    I read this and chuckled at some of the things that have gone on the past few seasons. New years, wolves , 4- wheelers , sleds. Good times . Always thought some should be filming this stuff

    I think they did some looking around the ML area as well so they may have multiple sites going perhaps.

    I’m pretty sure it might not all be fit for television or truly help promote a guide biz….LOL!! “It aint always pretty”.

    Yes. Whether this comes to frution or not remains to be seen, but would likely feature multiple guides from all walks of life and geographic locations within the state.

    Considering half of the U.S. has never ice fished (or believe it can be done)… might get some interest from our southern neighbors.

    I would suggest that you come up with a catch phrase and a “sound you make”.
    If you can steel enough camera time maybe you can work into your own spinoff show.

    On a more serious note, I’d love to watch an ice fishing reality show.

    Yea, if a bunch of good ‘ol boys from down south can make a show about duck calls work, I guess anything is possible.
