Rainy smallies

    I’m staying on the Canadian side at camp narrows next weekend. I’ve fished this time of year several times and had good success on walleyes but haven’t been able to consistently find the smallies. What patterns work well this time of year?

    Yup, Tom’s still the owner. I’ve stayed with him many times over the years and he’s always treated me right.

    Smallies are moving to many rockpiles adjacent to deep water on long extended shoals from shoreline as well as some isolated sunken reefs. Depths from 15-30 feet and getting some mixed in with our Walleyes.
