Guys are often last minute in trip planning during the fall. I often get the “When would YOU come up?”
BTW…….This would be a good time. Weather permitting expect continued big fish shots from RDGS and it’s team of anglers. Yesterday found us putting the Frabill circle of trust around numerous 20-21 inch fish a 24, 25 and 26.5 as well as a 16lb pike. Oh…….20 fish limit of beautiful eaters….squishing in a shorelunch in the middle. Fall can be action packed Walleye fishing. If you’ve traded in your sticks for “Smoke Poles” shame on you.
Congrats on your PB Walleye bud!! (Take a look at the beautiful colorations on this fish.) This is a prime example of a Rainy Lake “Weed Walleye” moving to deeper fall haunts.
Keep an eye out in the Outdoor News for a “Fall Cycle” piece as it pertains to Rainy Lake in which I’m putting together in the next week.
