Any details on the smallie fishing?? It’s rare to see a post about Rainy smallies here. I’d love to hear how you caught them.

    trapsht,
I had ten rods set up Flukes in white with a 5/0 hook. Top water bait in glass color with rattles X Rap. Tubs with an 1/8 oz jig in blue silver and husky jerks big size over rocks and shore areas.Hair jigs.

So how did you end up?

Chris didnt finish close to the money bite was tuff on the lake fished with a rookie that will never get it done with all the quality fisherman. On the river we had four decent bass and I missed a fish that threw the hook that was at least a 5lb bass with that fish we would of had over 12lbs on the river.

It was fun just to be on rainy fishing what a great lake. I did see you east of the brule prefishing one day you had the net out.

That Lake can burn down a bass fisherman Bob. You need a few good bites to crack the top 10 and everyone seeks them. Lots of good sticks struggle to barb-a beast to make that Rockstar entrance memorable at the Weigh ins.

Yeah I was guiding the EZ stuff!! LOL!! Actually that second day of the tournament was “DICEY” on the big water and every boat I saw made me happy I was running the WX2100 especially when that guy speared that wave and nearly sunk the ship. Scarey.
