Sometimes in the melting heat of July even the mind of a fishing addict is found wandering into the vast northwoods in chase of this seasons monster.

    Stay thirsty my friends!!

Fall can’t get here fast enough. Just put up a new tree stand last weekend and checked the trail cams. Getting the itch REAL BAD. Nothing like being in the woods of Iowa in October…

Days like this one are the best! Big eyes on the chew shallow early, hit a few trails for some grouse after brunch, catch some z’s then hit the woods looking for the next love stuck monster buck! All in just over 12 hours, if your gonna burn both ends of the candle you might as well burn the middle too! Im prayin we get some cooler weather for our trip up. I can assure you of one thing, the wife will have no problems with beating the heat at Sha Sha!

All in a “Daze” work. We’ll get the bird cage ready.
