Sometimes even a busy fishing guide in the middle of harvest has to idle down “300 Ponies” and sit back if only for a second to take it all in. In the hustle and bustle of today’s world the purest forms of nature and wildlife still make life on the lake very special.
Caught this shot early yesterday morning with customers. The fawn was still covered in spots and worked hard to keep up with the powerful swim of mom. It’s moments like this that make living in the outdoors simply priceless. When the deer hit shore the fawn jumped up and down as if to say “THAT WATER IS COLD”; Either that or “Spots” was plenty glad his/her first swim was a success story!!
