Two of my favorite customers!!

I shared a 1/2 day on Rainy Lake with two of my favorite customers/people. I’ve been fishing with Roger and Sandy for several years now and seemingly enjoy MY time on the water as much as they enjoy theirs. There is little pressure to produce, but we always seem to do well. Yesterday was no different as the Wilson’s show off this early in the day Double!! Thanks Roger and Sandy for so many great memories and many more to come!! BTW…..Sandy seemed a bit concerned posing for this pic beings her Walleye at 19 inches was quite a bit smaller than Rogers. Oh don’t worry minutes later there was BIG FISH REDEMPTION!!

Sandy uses an ultra-light rod as she has a bit of a bad wrist. This Rainy Lake beauty tested out that wrist strength as Roger sat next to her with a big smile. Way too much fun for a job!!

The Mayflies continue to show up on the surface and we continue to seek the largest scum. I was using a 1/3 crawler while the Wilson team was using a smaller fathead and minnow. Didn’t really seem to matter.
