The “Luncher” Walleyes are currently combining forces the the Big girls of Rainy lake. As a Walleye angler this is the timeframe many of us look forward to. We’re on the backdoor of a “Mini Mayfly Hatch” and the Walleyes were back on the Meat diet. Afterall…….MEAT is America’s favorite snack.
Solid 50 eyes in the boat with a 16 fish limit by noon. Great job team!! 15 Eyes exceeding 20 inches with the biggest around 25.

The boys enjoyed the Fresh Walleye last evening by having the Thunderbird lodge prepare the catch!! Nothing better!!
