I received a call from Thunderbird Resort saying there is a 4 person group from Texas whom consists of 2 men a couple youngsters. They want the boys to get on some “Good” fish.
Of course as we all know, fish at times end the chapters of the book we attempt to write.
Still after our 1 1/2 days on the water together I’ll hang my fishing cap on……..Mission Complete!!
2 happy anglers glowing as they hit the docks of Thunderbird Lodge!! These two guys likely wouldn’t remember their tennis shoes touching the old planks on that crib dock as they walked proudly to the fish cleaning station. Limit of beautiful eater Walleyes between 15-16.75 inches and 2 TANK Pike for the photo album and possibly a spot on the refrigerator at home!! PLUS countless slot Walleyes.
Nothing is better in the guiding world than the being able to write the ending of an otherwise fun story.
Congrats boys!! Fish of a lifetime for thousands of anglers. For you…….Just a start to many memories still to come. 
Both fish fell victim to the Purple Ghost Max Rap from Rapala. As if ANYONE didn’t know. BTW a guy told me yesterday he’d pay me $50.00 for one. I guess $20.00 now seems to be a bargain.
