Daze 1…..2…… PUNCH!!

    As of this week my 1….2…..punch is consisting of a “Max Rap” from Rapala and a Pulse-R from Custom Jigs and spins.

    I’m using the “Max Rap” to locate the big fish and as the bigger fish congregate I’m dropping the hammer on the schools with the Pulse-R.

    Anglers are advised to have multiple presentations laced up and ready to go in an instance. Yesterday was a prime example…Minutes after landing 2 beautiful slot fish on Max Raps I tossed in the “Pro Blue” Pulse-R laced on a Gold H20 Precision jig. BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!

    The Pulse-R from Custom jigs and Spins with the brilliant Gold H20 precision jig is lethal!! Rainy Lake Walleyes are not happy Bob added GOLD.

    Again yesterday after the trip a large group of anglers at a local resort were ASTONISHED we were catching eyes on Plastics….Not suprising; 80’s music just hit the Falls!!

    Do yourself a favor……Buy stock in the Pulse-R’s.

    Walleyes ? On plastic ??? Nice job Chris… how long does the tail last on the Pulse-R when they are feeding I am looking for some more plastic for my upcoming Northern trip

    On the Rainy River Shoot where James and I were murdering the big Walleyes I think I went through 5. Some were simply mush after catching 15-20 Big eyes on the one Pulse-R.

    I will be circulating around the evening before your push off Dave. I’m guiding early the next Morning. I look forward to shaking lots of hands and giving the best Pre-Launch tips I can. BTW the fishing is AMAZING right now!!

    Are Pulse-R’s good to use all year or are they just a spring time, cold water setup.

    Others may have varyng opinions and or experiences. I can only speak to the bites I target here on Rainy Lake. Still Rainy lake is VERY vast and some areas of our fishery can fish quite differently. I currently rely on the Pulse-R as my go to Walleye plastic trailer on the Rainy River and also here on the Lake while I target “skinny water” fish. I have yet to do very well on plastics in general in deep water without any current present.
