This photo was captured back in August of 2009 when James and I introduced Rainy Lake Houseboats to the followers of In Depth Outdoors on a film shoot. For me it was the first time I was able to saddle up one of Rainy Lake Houseboats luxurious floating condo’s from the flybridge. We’re heading through the Brule Narrows here as this photo was captured. My wife Cheryl aka “Fishing Queen” was with my daughter in the hot tub while James and his wife Cheryl were relaxed with a glass of wine. Such is life on the majestic Rainy lake.

I promise you this view is simply unmatched; You too will find yourself muttering over a sip of wine; “TOP OF THE WORLD……..TOP OF THE WORLD BABY” as you cruise through the untamed waters of Rainy Lake!!

See you on the water team!! Those summer ventures are NOT that far off!!

Fun fact; Average ice out for Rainy Lake is MAY 1st. Slide usage is a bit chilly in early May………RUMOR HAS IT.
