The ole “Lucky 7” experiences “Muddy Madness” on Rainy Lake. Big Pout, Walleyes, Pike, Perch, Whitefish, Saugers and the Occassional Tullibee. Good thing we haven’t chased the “Donks” yet. 7 for 7!! When you set up in the Mud………You truly never know what the the LX7 from Marcum will find spot next.

As we enter February here are the responses I’ve recieved as I’ve plopped the Lucky 7 down in front of our ice anglers. Top 10 CUSTOMER responses.

    1. WOW

    2. My flasher looks tiny.

    3. It’s like a computer……..

    4. WOW……..Again seems to induce the “Wow Factor”.

    5. Want to buy my……..

    6. Kind of like Cheating.

    7. This is UNREAL man!!

    8. WHAT NEXT!!

    9. DID YOU SEE THAT BRIAN!!

    10. My wife is going to kill me.

So far with our customer base it appears the unit has been widely accepted in a postive light while the general feeling is the wife will not be as excited with the new addition to the ICE FAMILY. Never can make everyone happy.

    Chris,

I am assuming the software update from Marcum has made the tweaks you were hoping for?

Nice Guess Rob!! Still beyond my personal opinion I thought many guys might find some value in what our customers think with zero ties to any company. They aren’t in the inside loop per say, and just take it for what it is. So far……THEY LIKE IT…….. A LOT!! For ME?? I’m likely as demanding as they come when it comes to ice equipment. From Augers to Houses to my Ice Sonar. My expectations are always SKY high and we truly test our equipment DAILY. I’ve LOVED my LX5 and everyone knows that. It frankly is like giving our security blanket up when I switched over. I ALSO still use my “Green Hornet” whipping stick on occassion………SHHHHHH!! Even though I know the TB Powernoodle is where it is at. Maybe I can get James to sell me one of his. What I will say regards to the Marcum LX7 in my own words is that I believe it is currently the best Ice sonar on the market and I have no hesitation in stating that. Will they tweek items on the unit as we go forward??….Of course.
