Congrats go to Joe today for landing our best fish of the day measuring 29 inches on the beans. The fish was a very fat fish obviously starting to form a serious batch of eggs. We didn’t weigh her, but I’d say she was very close to 10lbs if she wasn’t slightly over. What a SUPER TANKER Joe!!

Fresh off yesterday’s 28.5 inch Walleye landed by customer Drew Higgins todays customer quickly raised the bar once again. This fish was caught chasing ciscoes nearly 15 feet off the bottom on a Lightning spoon in the clown pattern tipped with a shiner head.

    Great fish Joe!

Again today just like Andrew’s 28.5 yesterday, Joe insisted the fish be released immediately!! Atta boy Joe!!

Though I wasn’t quick enough with the camera to catch the fight I did get some footage of the fish, measurement and release. Joe smacked the big girl minutes into the trip and NUMBER ONE priority was to ICE IT!!

Agreed. I’m pretty confident it went 10lbs. One of the fatter Walleyes we’ve iced. Pics still don’t do it justice.
