We’re currently the “Up All Night” fishing guide service here on Rainy lake. Between moving houses, posting/filming/editing short clips, Keeping equipment running, and trying to help customers catch elite caliber fish……….Sleep is taking the back seat. Still I just wanted to take a brief moment to post this big walleye that fell victim to the Green and Silver foil color scheme of the 1/8 oz. Lightning Spoon from Custom Jigs and Spins. http://www.customjigsandspins.com/icefishing/vertiglow/lightning_images/lightning_greenfoil.jpg

This color combination caught my eye as seemingly a brilliant big fishery forage match. It appears the big Walleyes like the color as much as I do, and we all know selling fisherman is often different than selling the elite fish. This BIG GIRL didn’t make the Movies as I’ve found Finding fish, Hooking fish, Landing fish and filming YOUR fish can be a tall task sometimes. BIG BIG thanks to “Search and Destroy” team member Andy Hanson for………WAIT FOR IT………LIPPING this 27 1/4 inch FAT Walleye. I honestly wouldn’t have been shocked to have heard “OOOOH SON that is a Big Ole Walleye” as I witnessed this fatty emerging out of the 8 inch hole with a thumb in her mouth!! OUCH THAT HURTS BUD or should I say “SWOOPER” LOL!! (This fish dropped into full throttle REVERSE as she came into sight under the ice. UNREAL TENSE TIMES had Yours Truly saying ANDY….. “YOUR GOING TO NEED TO GRAB THAT!!)

Though this Big Walleye from today…………WOW I NEED TO GET SOME SLEEP…..”Yesterday Now” didn’t get caught on film be sure to tune in on what tripped the Frabill flag as the sun dropped behind the Jack pines!! BTW It’s on film and YOU GUESSED IT…it’s “ON ICE” Coming to you SHORTLY!! You’ll have to excuse some lighting inexperience and sound issues. When the camera hits the hands of a fishing guide you get both Real and Raw footage!! (Nice way of saying….Ooops sorry guys should have adjusted the light and sound for ya, but that fish didn’t want to wait for perfection Don’t miss this next one guys as our Customer Brad B. HOOKS UP, and S&D team member Andy “SWOOPER” Hanson dives in for the save!!!!

Stay thirsty Team and we’ll do our best to Quench……ONE fish at a time!!
