Hot off the presses! If you’re looking for good ice and BIG-TIME fun… Chris shows us how it’s done!

Filmed on Rainy Lake, Mn – December 27, 2011. Chris Granrud, RainyDaze Guide Service @ http://www.rainydazeoutdoors.com, shows how a handful of suckers and a Frabill Pro-Thermal tip-ups can be the perfect combination for getting kids excited about fishing!

Note: This video is the fourth in a new series from In-Depth Outdoors. The concept is simple. Give all members of the In-Depth Outdoors Ice Pro Staff Team full-blown camera gear and editing equipment and cut them loose to film the day-to-day details that could never be captured by a production style camera crew.

Oh, this is way past COOL! Am passing the site link on the all my fishing friends with kids. What a moment. Wish we had some ice to stand on in the midwest (NE/IA) but hey, gas prices are down. ROAD TRIP!

Thanks for the fun day, Chris! The video turned out GREAT, and Ben is still excited. The story has been repeated over and over, and he certainly has a memory that will last a lifetime. The fact that Grandpa and Uncle Jake were there with us just added to the experience.

Sure, it would have been nice to put that 30″ walleye on the ice as well, but that will just have to wait for another adventure.

Had a great time with you boys Chris. Oh and the next day we confirmed those other BIG MARKS that wouldn’t bite in during the early Cold Front conditions……..Yep as we suspected BIG WALLEYES; 26 and 27 inchers and missed another big girl right at dark.
