I truly believe that we lack adequate daylight hours during the ice fishing season. Days are so short you simply get a couple moves to locate the best fish. Finishing up some customized rack systems on my main guide sled put me on the ice mid afternoon. I decided to try a breakline with some current flow in 25 f.o.w. I must admit it wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for, but it truly was a “Eater Bonanza”. Kept a few 12-15 inch Walleyes/Saugers for supper.

Pictured here is my Otter rod Case. I like to use it in my portable to keep my electronics off the ice and act as a dry work station. Not only does this protect your rods, but gives you a flat/dry area for numerous items while fishing for the day.

    Chris,
That is one ugly looking wally coming up the hole in the 1st pic.
Seriously, very nice fish fry you caught.

LOL!! Thought it was going to be a nice eye. Instead the Pout spawning grounds are starting to give up some Poor Man’s Lobster.
