These two dandy Bucks didnt make it. They have been named the Moondance Jam Bucks found on the Moondance property close to my home a few days ago. Too bad, why cant they just get along. Both 10 or 12 PT bucks. I think I saw one of these brute’s last year from my stand after I harvested my dandy 10pt. buck.

I talked to the guy that sent me the pic and they got tangled in a rope during the fight zoom in on the right deer to see the rope. This is three miles from my home.

Ive been watching the big one on the left saw him last year on the run stopped way out and stood had the scope on him but didnt shoot he stood 600yds from me broadside and I scoped him but didnt pull the trigger too long for me.

Darn now he dies in a noose.

That Buck on the left is truly a “Northwoods” Classic!! What a great deer. Too bad!! Get after his……..GRANDPA!!

Thanks for sharing that. We spent the weekend in the Ashland/Washburn area of Northern WI doing some scouting. We’re looking to hunt both WI and MN this year!!!

When you going to be in Wisco Chris??? I might just have to schedule a ice fish/hunt in that area at that time…

    Hi Mark,

I’m shooting for over the Thanksgiving week timeframe. I’m a green horn in that Ashland/Washburn are, but looking forward to getting my feet wet.

On a sidenote we scouted this weekend again for our Northern Minnesota rifle season and I was fortunate enough to find another moose paddle. That is 3 in the last 3 years This was a smaller bull (I’d estimate 3 years.)
