Our weather has seemingly turned to fall today with weather forecasters predicting a freeze overnight into tomorrow morning (Sorry Mosquitos you’ve had enough of my blood). Still with that being said “Crawlers” have remained a viable if not preferred bait selection for our Mid-September Walleyes. I highly suspect our bite will soon turn to a minnow dominated preference, but until further notice……Keep picking Worms Boys!!
Congratulations to Craig, Chuck, Bruce, Dennis, and Ron on some beautiful Rainy Lake fish yesterday!! Deep mud and Mud/Rock transitional areas continue to hold numbers of both good eating fish and the bigger “Rainy Lake Slots”. Come on up and pull the handle on the border as Rainy Lake slots are paying out in a big way here in the early stages of fall!!
