A great friend of mine from back in my high school and college days made a trip up here to Rainy Lake with some of his good friends and co-workers of the Mayo Clinic “Flight Team”.

My Good friend Bruce Goodman took the lead in that 90 minute CPR miracle in Goodhue that made national news in which some of you may remember!! He is very humble by nature and thinks it is no big deal, but don’t be fooled!! That is LIFE CHANGING RIGHT THERE!! Bruce worked his way up from a EMT with Gold Cross to a leading flight team member for the Mayo Clinic of Rochester. Sometimes it is humbling to realize how real life hero’s can be so soft spoken of their everyday responsibilities. Fishing with that “TEAM” was simply awesome!! Besides that even though I am up to date on my First aid and CPR training…….I FELT PRETTY DARN SAFE!!

Great fish MEN……..EVEN BETTER TIMES!! What a fun night over at Sha-Sha Resort!! There is no substitute in life for laughter!! I’m still chuckling to myself!! Look forward to next year!!

You would of been in good hands with all those paramedics on board if one of those big gators would of shown themselves and taken a bite out of your hand again.

I was afraid to cough thinking I might get CPR.
