“Dog Daze Eyes” Big walleyes of August!!

    As we enter into the Month of August the Rainy Lake walleyes are cooperating nicely!! Big slot fish have been hammering the H20 Precision jig and minnow combination worked over deep gravel. http://www.customjigsandspins.com These fish seemingly have found some good eating on these deeper gravel bars that have some flow over the tips leading to deeper water.

    Congratulations to the “Key” husband and wife duo all the way from HOT Texas. They are on a current tour of all the National Parks, and looked up our services for a 1/2 day adventure. They decided their first walleye fishing trip might also fit well into the visit to Rainy Lakes Voyageurs National Park. I’d say they did quite well on a 1/2 day trip landing a limit of beautiful eating fish and plenty of big picture fish for the wall!!

    We’ve never started a show with a wrestling match. Might be a fun way to get the ball rolling. How about a “Jigs or Cranks” cage match on Granrud’s dock as part of the pre-launch audio check??

    I’m pretty sure you’ve got a slight size advantage Holst. Still I have been practicing my “Flying Squirrel” move. Not sure If your height advantage might not be an issue.
