Our biggest walleye of the day fell victim to a Jolly Rogers “Pro Series” Firetiger blade. We had a little contest going boat to boat today, and after lacing up the Firetiger blade the contest winner hit the net!! The realistic patterns from Jolly Roger Tackle really give anglers an advantage while on the water. Today these fish simply needed to be triggered, and what better way than a “Firetiger” pattern on a slow rolled blade. We were actually using simple fatheads on the spinner blade rigs turning numerous big slot fish. Thanks Jolly Roger!! The walleyes were simply no match for your brilliance. I think these walleyes may have mistaken the “Jolly Roger” for a “Jolly Rancher” Silly fish!!

Just a “Ho-Hum” Rainy Lake Special!! 25 inches on the button Ben!! Funny thing was we were pitching H20 Precision jigs (Imagine that) for a good part of the day pulling 20-23 inch fish out with consistency. I said to our customers we need to trigger some bigger fish to win that contest. Hey…$10.00 is $10.00 BUCKS!! MY 1ST sling of the Firetiger…..”Bling” pulled our biggest fish of the day!!

    BEN……..FISHING………..IS………AWESOME!!

Hey Chris, just wondering what your favorite line is? Do you use the same line for jigging as you do for pulling spinners? Thanks for any advice.

I use a 10lb test 2lb Diameter Power Pro for both jig fishing and pulling spinner rigs. When we fish jigs I always tie on a 30 inch piece of flouro.
