International Falls Stops?

This is mainly a question about bait shops in the area. Thorne Bros has become my go to fishing shop and rarely find myself stopping anywhere else between the cities and mille lacs. I have also learned to expect great service and good bait because of them. Any bait shops close to Rainy to make sure to stop in and check out? I was also wondering if there is anywhere on the lake to buy bait, gas, ice, beer and all of that stuff? I had thought about stopping in marine general on my way up to get some B&B boxes but not sure if it is worth swinging through duluth or taking a more direct route so…yeah… I guess I am asking for directions too Thanks for any help IDO! I haven’t hit a new body of water in over a year and just need to be there and fishing

The One Stop is a very good shop. Big clean store. Big selection of lures, live bait, rods… just about anything you’d want or need. Laura is the manager and has been great to work with or just shoot the breeze with during visits.

Check out the pics at this page to get a feel for the size and selection. This isn’t a dark, dirty hole in the wall shop.

All I needed before heading up was a few 3/16th oz jigs, ya think the local bigbox would have them right… no luck 2 small bait shops later had me looking still until I found the stash of B-fishin tackle 3/16s at the One stop… Made my day, til I got on the water

Looks like your covered!! Yes the Rainy Lake One Stop is how I start everyday. We get our bait and gas there as well as anything else we need. Heck………They are the ONE STOP!! LOL!!

They also have a liqour store attached to the building to cover any refreshments you might want.

Simply take Hwy 11 East out of Ifalls abou 4 miles and you’ll see it on the right hand side. Laura manages the place and typically is there from 6-2pm M-F.

    Have a great trip!!

As for on the water Gas you can pick that up at the Thunderbird lodge.
