Am heading up north in 10 days to Blackduck Lake. Planned to make a two day run to Rainy and fish a few of my old haunts (Black Bay – east end, Bald Rock and a few of the reefs). Problem is the latest windstorm totaled the fishing boat so need to find a place to rent one for a day or two. Any suggestions? Oh, and have put in my request for no windstorms over the 4th of July holiday. Chris, I believe you handle those…

LOL!! We’ve endured a couple BRUTAL 25-35 mph East winds the last couple days. I’m off this morning until my afternoon trip. Todays winds have subsided to a mere 15mph NNE blow. Temperatures are expected to top our around 55 degrees today as I’m listening to the birch snap in our fireplace!!

I believe you can rent a boat from both Sha-Sha Resort and Thunderbird resort.

    Thunderbird Resort- 286-3151
    Sha-Sha Resort- 286-3241

    Have a great trip!!
