Rainy lake trip

Last Saturday my son in-law and 8 year old grandson and I hit rainy lake on a clear flat day with Chris Granrud of Rainydaze guide service. Yes clear and no wind and would you believe Chris put us on good fish, 15 to just over 26 inch eyes and decent pike to boot heck we even boated a dandy small mouth just to add to the fun. We now have an 8 year old who can’t wait to do another all day trip with his favorite guide, yep now grandpa is relegated to number two.

No suprise for me.

Congrats boys!! I love fishing with Chris, its not that I don’t think I could do it on my own, its that everytime we fish with him its a blast, and WAY more relaxing!! By the time I tow my boat up and back and get the prop repair done it pretty much evens out to the cost of a trip with Chris

The Pleasure was all mine!! Watching that little guy reef Rainy Lake fish to the boat was priceless. What a fun day. That little guy was cracking me up all day long!! Congratulations on all the nice fish.

Thanks Ben I have to admit I love catching fish with customers and get pretty excited for the guys in the boat. Many customers have echoed your thoughts Ben when sneaking away for a couple days. Fish out of “Sho-Time” not risk a lower unit, not pull your boat, and have the guide put you on fish. HECK we’ll even take them off and take a pic of your smiling face……..Geez I am a bargain!!
