Got back Saturday night from a 1 week excursion. Fishing started out fantastic then tapered down to normal. Which is still great. I got this 42″ pike in the rain and a short time later my bro got a 28″ walleye. The water was not warming during the day like it normally would due to a cool north east wind that persisted most of the week. Fish were shallow with some walleye schools starting to migrate out. Good luck to anyone going up real soon it should pick up as the water warms. JP
