Anybody have any water temps for the back bays? Trying to plan my attack for next week.

Welcome to IDO JP!! Glad to have you here on the Rainy Lake forum. Post some pics upon your return.
Yesterday greeted opening day anglers with a brisk 20mph + wind blowing main lake cool water into many of the North Facing bays on the US side. We dipped back out of the wind for a bit and noticed 48 degree surface water temps. These water temp readings are very volatile as they can change 10-15 degrees in a day. Looks as though we are going to receive a week of sun which should really warm things up. Have a great trip with Rainy Lake Houseboats!!
