Well here is some firsthand information of what we’re seeing on Rainy Lake. Feeder Creeks that flow into the Mighty Rainy Lake have some flow to them. This increased current is beating up the ice beginning the melting process. I would guess towards the end of April I’ll be able to slip in the new “Fish Casket” into the cool water of spring. That my friends………NOT TOO FAR AWAY!!

I have some open dates prior to the Minnesota Inland fishing opener for those who want a crack at a 20lb pike! You can bet we’ll be out there chasing them hardcore!!

May 2-3, May 7-10!! Should be great dates!! Ask for Pre-season Discount!! Bring camera and no pike baits that have any sentimental value.

I’ll bet that would be fun with the 10 weight and some big streamer flies! Beautiful fish.

I’ve had some people interested in doing that Rootski. We’ve just never put the trip together. The Skeeter has a big front bow and I can run that Terrova remote from the back of the boat. Would be pretty cool no doubt!!! Not much traffic on the lake at all, and big fish!!
