As I posted somewhere else here, there were wild rumors floating around about truly monstrous Saugeyes being caught in the last few weeks. Here’s the truth. A new Ohio State record Saugeye was caught at Clendenning lake in November. It weighed 12.83 pounds. Then that record was broken 2 weeks ago by a fish from Alum Creek. That fish weighed only .01 ounce more than the other fish at 12.84. Both very nice Saugeyes but not the behemoths that the rumor mill made them out to be. If these pics don’t load, someone please help!!
