Panfish?

I’ve managed to sneak out a couple times for panfish and with all this calm, warm weather I would think the panfish have been moving shallower, but it seems they are stuck to the depths yet. It was a tough bite on the couple lakes I fished with water temps in the 52 in one lake (chilly) to 61 in another.

I wish I had more time to fish, but hopefully in the near future.. Opener can’t come soon enough, so I’m working more until then.

I hope someone’s having some success! What’s the scoop?

I am finding the same thing. I hit a few Lakes around Forest Lake last week and I am not finding much! A lot of small sunnies are surfacing all over the place right now the big female Crappies are hiding from me! I find a few bucks here and there but nothing hot and heavy. Water temps down here from what I am finding range from 60 to 68 you would think that is rock and roll time………….

Same story here. 2 weeks ago was tough, last week was a little better and last night showed a glimmer of hope. This weekend should be better and the next few weeks should bring the “Good Stuff”.
