Sat. on the ice in a Dennys resort shack on Winni. Cold, blowing, and a front arrived Fri., but the perch still cooperated. Four of us went and got on a good morning bite that slowed considerably at about 10am. We didn’t stay for the evening bite as a couple guys owed evening dates to wives. We made the 1 1/2hr run as the local bite has been spotty and inconsistent. We cleaned 40 beautiful perch, 1 walleye and a 3 & 4 lb northern. 32ft of water off a midlake hump with jigs and fathead minnows. Jiged 6″- 1′ of the bottom.
