We are in the transition for the last of our area lakes to be iced over. Ice is still unpredictable and a pick-up truck went thru on Little Detroit last Thurs. Portables out on some of the small shallow lakes and a bunch on Deadshot bay. Any early ice anglers please report.
What in the h*** is someone doing driving a truck on a lake this early? Makes me wonder……

I know…blows me away someone can be smart enough to work a job that helps them afford a $25,000 truck and stupid enough to drive it on 3-4 inches of unsafe ice!Try and explain that one to your insurance agent!
Early ice reports for sunfish and crappies sound good. They seem to be biting anywhere you can get out. Early ice walleyes are being keep quiet. Won’t be secret for long. Please post if you know anything.
