Most if not all of the Ottertail County lakes are now ice-free. Otter Tail has just a little busted up ice left that should be gone today with the pounding wind and rain. We do need the moisture as lake levels are a little low for this time of year.
The annual DNR walleye-milking at the hatchery is in full swing so it looks like the fish should be on the chew when opening weekend rolls around.
Looking forward to some sunshine and warmer temps by the end of the week!
